The Bridging Challenge

 A Knowledge Sport

Connecting information is an important aspect of learning, supporting claims & critical thinking.

Bridging is a knowledge-based sport or a knowledge sport. A flight of bridging competitions for students debut in Q1 2021 including the first 100 Days of the Presidency, Black History Month, as well as around the election.

Middle, High School & College Students

Bridging is a year-round knowledge sport in which teams and individual students compete to win prizes & scholarships for creating perspective shifting content.

What is a bridge?

Bridges connect two pieces of content (i.e., piece of text, image, segment of video, audio) with a relationship such as Supporting, Contradicting, or Citing.

How it works:

  1. Teachers create teams

  2. Students install extension

  3. Students make bridges

  4. Students vote on best bridges

  5. Judges make final selections
